More Sign Say and Play Classes
Event on 2013-02-19 11:15:00

The MORE Sign, Say & Play® program, like the original SS&P curriculum it typically follows, is a series of 6 classes designed to provide an easy and entertaining way for parents and babies to learn signs together. While maintaining the traditional SS&P organizational format, the MSS&P classes utilize all new themes, songs, and games to introduce 36 NEW signs. In addition, carefully crafted activities provide parents with important insights into aspects of emotional development during the crucial first three years.

Each week will introduce a new theme that will further your journey in signing.  Within that theme you will learn 6 fun NEW signs.  The stimulating activities, songs, play, and information introduced will all support your baby’s learning these signs in an interactive environment.  During the first session you will receive the MORE SS&P® Kit to take home with you.  The books, songs on the CD, and DVD will help you continue to teach the signs to your baby at home.  Weekly handouts will explain the signs and concepts we’ve learned in class.

The MSS&P® Curriculum is dedicated to:

 ·    Following the child’s lead

·    Operating within the child’s “Zone of Proximal Development”

Question by dannyd3554: How do i play movies I downloaded off itunes on my dvd player?
I have just purchased Enemy at the Gates off the Itune Store. I have also bought a couple blank dvd’s so i can burn it. I already burnt one disc that doesn’t work. What do I have to do in order to play my movies on my dvd player? I have 2 programs called PowerDVD 6 and Nero. I don’t know if any of them have the tools to convert them…

I think that you have to save it in your ipod and use some kind of ipod docking station to play it back on your TV. If your movie files are not protected, then you can convert them to a DVD disc. In most cases, the picture quality is not very good on DVD, because the movie file is a highly compressed MP4 or h264. The re-conversion process from compress video to DVD video is usually not very good. You will not get the same video quality of an original DVD. Finally, there are a lot of video converting software on the internet or most electronics stores, or check out this website: http://www.daniusoft.net/product-suite.html

How can I make my DVD player play sound through car speakers?

Sunday, October 7th, 2012

Question by Samantha Smith: How can I make my DVD player play sound through car speakers?
I just got an 04 Yukon Denali. I don’t think this is the stock dvd player. I want to make the sound come through the car speakers instead of the headphones. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It is hooked up to wireless headphones and there is no remote.

If The DVD Player Has A Headphone Jack, Then…
1. Go To Walmart And Buy An FM Transmitter For $ 15.
2. Set The Transmitters FM Station.
3. Tune Your Vehicles Radio To The Transmitters Desired Station.
-And There You Have It, The Easiest Way To Get Audio Through Your Vehicles Speakers.
-Unless Your Vehicle Has An AUX Input, Then Just Send The AUX Cable From the DVD Player To The Vehicles Radio Component. So Theres 2 Ways I Guess… Lol…

You will most likely need to update your codecs for the version of windows that you are using. For Windows Vista there is a Vista Codec Pack that contains many of the common ones. You may also want to download xVid and DivX codec packs as well. Depending on the file extensions and decryption/rip method will depend on the file you will use. Files with the extension “.avi” are most commonly either using a divx/xvid codec. If the files are “.iso” then you will need to get a program that creates a virtual cd-rom/dvd-rom drive, as these are actual images of the disk that you decrypted. If there is a folder for audio and a folder for video files, then you will open the first sequential “.vob” in the video directory. Assuming that you have the right codecs for the specified files, these solutions should work for the applicable file type. If you have a MAC, good luck. :p I only do PCs.

Did any of that work? What file types are you trying to play? I am assuming the “.VOB” with audio and video folders. I just recently reformatted my computer, so I now need to do the same. Please let me know if you have trouble and I will try to figure out which codecs you are missing.

Another good program for ripping dvds that I used in the past is DVD Fab Platinum. Not sure how it stacks up anymore.

what codec does a dvd need to for it to play in a dvd player?

Question by AJAY: what codec does a dvd need to for it to play in a dvd player?
I want to burn a movie to DVD but don’t know what codec/file extension is needed to do this.

You don’t need a codec.

If you wanna make a DVD that will work on a standard DVD player, you will need a DVD burning tool to do this. Just copy the movie to a DVD disc, it will actually not read by DVD players.

The best and most reliable DVD burning tool that I’ve ever used is a tool called DVD Creator. It’s able to burn all kinds of videos to DVD disc. After that, you can view the DVD on DVD player. It also lets you edit videos and create DVD menus. Easy to use and professional.

You should really give it a try. You may check out at:

You can, but you would have to go through a whole lot of trouble to achieve it and when you finish since you are using video out it will be funky bright colors. Donuts to dollars you are much further ahead to purchase an external that you can use on any computer including your tower if you have one. Or just buy a replacement for your laptop. They are really cheap these days!
